on the second Monday of the month.

- Bloomington not affected by Lemon Chalet Creme Recall:
Our baker, Little Brownie Bakers, discovered some inferior oil
was used in a batch of lemon cookies, and they recalled the lots
that contained this oil. The cookies are safe to eat, but not
good enough to sell under the Girl Scout label.
If your cookie customers ask about the Lemon cookie recall,
please assure them that less than 1% were affected by the recall
and NONE of the recalled cookies were shipped to Bloomington.
Your troop's cookie leader should have a list of the lot numbers
and delivery locations affected by the recall if you need more
information.
-

Another Way to Support Girl Scouts... Go Shopping!
That's right, go head and buy something -- a new CD, the latest bestseller, essentials like toothpaste or vitamins, even a computer. But first join
www.iGive.com. Every time you shop at one of the over 500 name-brand stores in the Mall at
iGive.com (like Amazon, JC Penney, Land's End and many more), the Girl Scout Council will receive a donation of up to 26% of each purchase you make, at no cost to you.
Remember, donating to Girl Scouts won't cost you a thing through this method. But we'll miss out on extra money to help Girls Grow Strong if you don't join. So visit
iGive.com now. Membership is free and your privacy is guaranteed.
